Why is it that weekends can be so busy?
This last weekend we had not one, but two annual parties overlap. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. Not too bad you say? Well, the one on Saturday was an all day beach party. We got there by 11 AM and we were there until after 10 PM.
Then, a friend who I’ve known for about 30 years had his birthday party/bash. It is usually on the first Sunday in August, but he moved it this year.
A nice family that we’d like to get to know better had three parties this summer. Sent out the evites all at the same time and told us to pick one. WE didn’t make it to any of them. :(
